About Erzetich
Founded in 2012 by Blaž Erzetič, the brand’s mission was simple – to create unique and handcrated headphones and equipment which allows music to be heard the way it should be, while also making a visual statement.
After 40 years of existence, the French brand Mulidine has just been taken over by Stéphane CATAURO, a young entrepreneur with an atypical profile. Classical musician by training, graduate of the CNSM of Paris in classical guitar and active artist, the passion for sound and technology runs in his veins since his birth. Anxious to perpetuate a brand that has proven itself, he also wants to give the brand a new dynamic. He has imagined a range of original loudspeakers, surprising by their aesthetics as well as by their sound. The concern for a handcrafted and “made in France” manufacturing is also a great concern of the company for the future. You can count on him to accompany you in the maintenance and renovation of all Mulidine’s products since its origins, but also to discover an endearing person who will make you discover his new creations, with ardour, competence and always a lot of benevolence. A revival to be followed very closely, notice to the amateurs! www.mulidine.com
Joe Perfito founded Gordon J Gow Technologies, Inc. in 1991, in honour of his mentor Gordon Gow, one of the two founders of McIntosch. He spent 15 years there developing his passion for audio product design. A pioneer in the field, he decided to design, manufacture and market high quality audio and digital cables. The name Tributaries Cables was chosen in honour of Mr Gow, then President of McIntosh. After 20 years of continuous development, Joe Perfito created, exclusively with renowned cable designer Jay Victor, a new range of high performance cables: the Clarus brand. They are available in two ranges: Aqua and Crimson. Each cable is designed in the USA and individually hand-assembled using meticulous craftsmanship in the Orlando, Florida workshops. The highlights: they use the purest copper in the world (PCOCC, Pure Copper Ohno Continuous Casting) and innovative conductor types, all patented and individually insulated. A significant new floor standingloudspeaker from Raidho. The X series at Raidho stands for eXtremeperformance for the price. Of course, these are not cheap products, by any standard. But think of it this way: The X series has almost the same ribbon tweeter that sits in TD6 from Raidho. This costs EUR 210.000. So,in respects the price of this speaker is a fairly easy-goingEUR 14.000 for the pair. The X2t is any regard a significant setup in comparison to the outgoing X2.
The introduction of the new X1t really showed how much it was possible to get out of the existing X1. With new engineering power and the use of experts in every field for acoustics it was possibleto create a new super mini monitor, which was actually moresuper than mini. The X1t got an overwhelming reception at the high-End Show 2022and has since thenreceived a great number of awards and raving reviews.
With a X1t, sounding this fantastic, there was just one problem withexisting X2. The almost 3 times as expensive X2 was underperforming in comparison to the X1t. The quest for making amuch-improvedX2t began, using the same improvements from the X1t and moreadditional ingredients from the ultra high-end sector.
When it comes to visual appearance of compact floor standingloudspeakers, it does not get more elegant andbeautiful than this. Even the bass reflex port looks like noother and perfectly integrates in the design. But the elegantlines conceal the ability to generate real musical expression. The X2tdoes everything the compact X1tdoes, just on a higher level. Additionally, the X2t has dual woofers with which you get much more bass power and a largerscale to the music. The two 5,25” bass driver units in the new X2t, now has the Tantalum coating. Tantalum belongs to a classof metals known as refractory metals, which are defined bytheir strong resistance to heat and wear. It has a meltingpoint of 2,996 °C, the fourth highest of all metals. This makesthe membrane much stiffer and harder without addingany weight and thereby raising the breakup modes to anincredible 15kHz.
Further upgrades from the X2 to the X2t are:
-Better components in the crossover -Nordost internal cabling -Completely retuning of the loudspeaker
A Raidho special among floor standingloudspeakers is also the use of 2,5-wayconstruction. Thisguarantees a very coherent sound from top to bottom as bothdrive unit puts out bass, but only the upper does midrange.Decoupling of the speakers is integrated into the feet. So, there is no need for spikes to achieve the best result, because this is done with metal balls, on which thespeakers rest on.
The proprietary, trademark ribbon tweeter is a unique design. It is completelydesigned and build by hand in-house in Denmark. To be exact, it is a PlanarMagnetic Tweeter due to the tracks in the foil. The foil is 11 micronsthick, whichmeans it is 50 times less mass in comparison to a conventional dome tweeter. This is because thevoice coil is in the foil and the extreme low weight of the foil (20milligram). The result is virtually no resonances or distortion, and the breakuppoint is at an incredible 82 KHz! What you hear is amazing clear and naturalsound. All the detail in the world, but no fatigue, no distortion, and no coloration!
The heart of the loudspeaker is always tugged away inside the loudspeaker. But we really want to show it to the world as this is a proud piece of engineering form us. The new crossover in the X2t has quality components that exceeds many other loudspeakers up to EUR 80.000. On the back you can see the point-to-pointhardwiring that is all done by hand. Furthermore, the use of Nordost cable in the crossover is highly unusual and reveals the enormous attention to detail. Needless to say,the internal cable is also from Nordost with Norse technology, which is also used in the Nordost Valhalla models.
The new X2t may not look all that different to the original X2. But in reality, the only thing that stays the same is the visual appearance. The sonic performance on the other hand, is ona whole other planet. At Raidho, we made a test of the new X2t and compared it to older Raidho models. We found that the new X2t would beat older models (before 2018) costing at least twice as much. This is how far the performance level at Raidho has gotten at only EUR 14.000 for a pair (EU pricing). There is an additional charge for other colors.

The latest firmware upgrade for the I1 Universal Integrated Amplifier is now available and offers more than just a software tweak. It delivers a step-change in musical performance.
Software Version 2.0 makes two significant changes to the digital decoding section that lies at the heart of this versatile unit. The PEtER spline filter algorithms have been updated in-line with the latest developments introduced on the C1.2 DAC/Controller, implementing fixed point filtering of digital signals. In addition, the I1 is also now fully MQA compatible, whether replaying streamed music or MQA-CDs from the D1.5. Together, these steps represent a genuinely significant upgrade in the performance of our universal system solution, making for even more music, more of the time. And best of all? As a software upgrade, it’s entirely free of charge.
