With two layers of carbon fiber spread around an aramid honeycomb spacer, the X1 takes over the 4.5″ (11.4 cm) bass-midrange driver placed at the top of the X3, as well as its planar ribbon tweeter and ferrite-free magnet motors from the Z series. With a height of 42 cm (16.5”) and a weight of 12.9kg (28.4 lbs), this already very high-end compact develops a frequency response of 50Hz to 50kHz at 6 ohms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Like all X models, the X1 is built in a highly rigid wood composite cabinet with carbon inserts, from which three rear vents emerge to expel internal waves as far as possible. Of course, the X1 also comes with a dedicated stand, available as an option at a price of \u20ac1,000\/$1,100.
